As a prosecutor, Jim Walker has handled some of Yolo County's most serious cases. 

Working together with Yolo County District Attorney Jeff Reisig, they successfully prosecuted Norteno and Sureno gang leaders, sending them to prison for life without parole, for the brutal murders of Eric Folsom and Robert Stepper on Halloween night in 2002.

Jim Walker prosecuted one of Yolo County's most vicious child-molesters, William Dalby, who molested five young girls.  William Dalby is presently serving a life sentence after a Yolo County jury convicted him on multiple counts of child molestation.

Jim Walker is the first Deputy District Attorney in Yolo County history to convict a drunk driver of murder, for the tragic deaths of a mother and her 14 year-old daughter.  That drunk driver is now serving a life sentence in prison.

Jim Walker prosecuted the notorious "body parts" case in Davis, sending a ghoulish ex-UCD employee to prison for stealing body parts that were supposed to be used to train medical students at UC Davis.
