For more than twenty five years, Jim Walker has demonstrated remarkable leadership, excellent judgement and an ardent sense of patriotism serving his country as a member of the United States Air Force and the Yolo County District Attorney's Office.

Jim Walker is currently assigned to prosecute homicides and career criminals in Yolo County.  He earned his Juris Doctorate from the McGeorge School of law, while serving on active duty in the USAF.  He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland.

“James is an experienced, proven prosecutor who will make a positive difference in our courts,” says Woodland City Councilman Jeff Monroe.  “He is respected by law enforcement because he has shown himself to be ethical and fair minded.”
